Balt. Students, Parents Protest School Dismissals
BALTIMORE (AP) ―
Baltimore school officials say a city principal has resigned and another assistant principal from the same high school is on administrative leave, but they aren't saying why.
System officials told The (Baltimore) Sun personnel matters were involved. They said that keeps them from discussing why Marco Clark resigned from Maritime Industries Academy.
They also aren't discussing why assistant principal Kevin Brooks is on administrative leave.
The Sun reported dozens of parents and students protested at the headquarters of the city schools system Wednesday morning. They said they weren't given any information about Clark's departure or Brooks' discipline.
