Teens Still Missing After Catonsville Kidnapping

Baltimore County Police are looking for two teens after an incident in Catonsville they say may be a kidnapping and home invasion.

An Amber Alert remains in effect for two teenagers.
Mike Schuh reports the teens were kidnapped from a Catonsville home by a number of masked intruders in the pre-dawn hours Tuesday.
Police found the getaway car but there's still no trace of the victims or the suspects. The 2004 BMW 645 was abandoned on a street in Southwest Baltimore.
Maryland State Police issued an Amber Alert for two teens after an incident in Catonsville. Police say 15-year-old Sterling Blackwell and 16-year-old Stephon Blackwell may have been kidnapped.
It happened Tuesday in the 600-block of Plymouth Road.
Corporal Mike Hill, a police spokesman, says six men wearing masks went into the home about 3 a.m. The 10 people inside had their hands taped behind their backs.
Police say Sterling and Stephon Blackwell left with the suspects around 11 a.m. As the men took the brothers out of the home, a relative of the teens' was driving down the street. Police say he got out of his car and approached the men, one of whom shot at him but missed.
Neighbors tell
Eyewitness News there's been a lot of suspicious activity around the house. They say there's a constant stream of cars and people coming and going every night. Neighbors were also troubled by the large amounts of cash taken from the victims' relatives.
"The police were trying to get statements from the individuals and they weren't really going to be helping and all. It got a little nasty and stuff, so you're wondering what the heck is going on," said Paul Mills, Jr. "So hopefully they'll get lucky and find these two boys and nothing will be wrong with 'em or they won't be hurt or anything like that. But the way it went down, it seems that it might not be like that, unfortunately."
Sterling Blackwell is described as being 5'4" and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a green hoodie sweatshirt. Stephon Blackwell is described as being 5'7" and 145 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a gray sweatshirt.
Police are investigating the incident as a home invasion and kidnapping.
They are still looking for a gray Suburban.
