Police Investigate Attempted Rape In Mont. Co.

Police are asking for help as they investigate an attempted rape near a Maryland bus stop. It happened in Aspen Hill, which is southeast of Rockville.

The victim says she exited the bus on Bel-Pre Road when a man followed her toward her apartment complex and forced her into a wooded area.

He attempted to rape her but she aggressively resisted until the man fled on foot.

Anyone with information is urged to call police.
