Man Charged With Arson At His Home
BALTIMORE (AP) ―
Federal prosecutors have charged a 55-year-old man with arson after his late ex-wife's home was set on fire.
Scott Wilson of Highland was charged Friday for setting the Mink Hollow Road home ablaze Oct. 31. Federal prosecutors say he's been living in the house since his ex-wife Sarah Manning died in December 2007.
The home was severely damaged in the fire and federal prosecutors say authorities believe he also set fires in an outbuilding near his house and along the property's fence line earlier in 2008.
After setting his home on fire, prosecutors also say he set a truck on fire that belonged to a security guard at the company where he worked. Prosecutors say the two men got into an argument before the man's truck was set on fire.
