Elderly Woman Stabbed At Anne Arundel Co. Park
ODENTON, Md. (AP) ―
Anne Arundel County police are investigating a report that an elderly woman was stabbed several times in a park near Odenton.
Police received reports that a 68-year-old woman had been stabbed at Patuxent River Park in the 1200 block of Patuxent Road about 10:15 a.m. Tuesday.
County police spokesman Justin Mulcahy said police don't believe there's a threat to the public's safety and aren't searching for a suspect.
County Fire Department spokesman Division Chief Michael Cox said an ambulance transported the woman to Shock Trauma in Baltimore with serious injuries.
