A pedestrian is struck in Anne Arundel County.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Ritchie Highway and Hammonds Lane in Brooklyn Park.

Police say an adult male was struck by an unknown vehicle.

That man was taken to Shock Trauma by ground. There's no word on his condition.
