Zellweger Film Moves To Baltimore
BALTIMORE (AP) ―
Baltimore residents should get used to seeing film crews around town over the next month or so.
Filming of "My One and Only," starring Renee Zellweger, moved into the city this week.
The movie kicked off production in northwestern Baltimore County. It will be shooting in the area through July.
"My One and Only" is a period piece set in 1953 and based on the memoirs of actor George Hamilton. Zellweger plays a divorcee seeking a rich husband and father for her two young sons.
While the movie doesn't take place in Baltimore, producer Aaron Ryder says most of it will be shot within the city limits.
Baltimore will stand in for a number of locales, including Boston, New York and Pittsburgh.
