Police Make Arrest In Reisterstown Rape

BALTIMORE (WJZ) ― Baltimore County police have arrested a man in connection with a July 5 rape which happened in Reisterstown.

Dante Ramsey has been charged with first-degree rape and a first-degree sex offense.

The victim, an 18-year-old woman, says she was attacked while walking in the area of Glyndon Drive and Shirley Manor Road. She was then taken to the 400-block of Homevale Court where she was forced to perform a sex act and then raped at gun point.

The woman told police that the suspect also attempted to rob her following the assault. When she complained she only had a few dollars her purse was returned.

The suspect who has a long criminal history was caught thanks to an anonymous tip through Metro Crime Stoppers.
