Police Accidentally Bust Wheaton Robbery
WHEATON (AP) ―
Montgomery County police have arrested four suspects in a robbery that they stumbled across while in Wheaton to deliver an arrest warrant.
Police say the officers had come a home on the 23-hundred block of Blueridge Avenue to serve a carjacking suspect with an arrest warrant. When they knocked on the door, someone told them to come in. That's when they found four bound robbery victims on the floor.
Officers took the four suspects into custody. They were Juan Hernandez-Jimenez of Beltsville, Jovet Ivarocca of Gaithersburg, and Victor Ramirez and Jose Domingo Hernandez, who have no fixed addresses.
Investigators determined that the four entered the home to rob it. A man and woman there were bound and robbed. The woman was also raped. When two more men arrived, they were bound and robbed too.
The four suspects were all charged with first-degree rape and several counts of armed robbery.
