Well Wishes To Jessie From WJZ Viewers

BALTIMORE (WJZ) ― "You were a very brave girl when you had your surgery. It made me feel good to know that as I prayed for you the day you went in the operating room, the prayers were answered. I've never seen such a true angel as you truly are. They say you only see angels in your dreams. Well, I can say the world has seen one on WJZ TV. You are truly an Angel to me. I know the world can say the same. I know you feel special, and you are. Your mommy and daddy are very proud of you; they are truly blessed by you. God has sent such an angel to them. There is a reason why you had this little set back in life. He feels sometimes not all our parts work for us, so he sends someone special to take care of these little ones. You have your mommy and daddy who were chosen for you. I had brain surgery, and I was scared watching you walk down the hall way. You were so much more brave than me. As with mine, I have some little problems. I just say thank you for letting me live another day. Now you will see when you sleep the angels as they did with me. They watched over me when I slept. I knew they were there with me. You will feel this special set of wings that wrap around you as you sleep. Tell mommy and daddy you are safe. I have loved that they have such good doctors who really care for us. And special mommies and daddies who care. To Jessie's mom and dad, you are truly blessed by a special little girl. I wish I could say this in person. We all have someone that loves us more. I am glad we have good doctors too. I am doing well with my recovery. She will too. She has the heart of a lion, and the wishes of many angels above. May you have the rest of your lives and life as if it was the first time. She has gotten over the worse part. Now she will heal, and you will see a life time of joy. May God bless you all, and I will continue to pray for her. Now you both take a small breather for a moment. She is in good care." -- Debbie Mullins

"Dear Chris and Kristi, we are so thankful for Jessie's recovery so far.  Thank you for sharing it with us and the world. Please know our prayers will continue without ceasing. What precious blessings you have received already. I pray that throughout the coming hours, days, weeks and months Jessie and your family will be uplifted and filled with the peace, hope and promise that only He can provide. We send all our love from Aledo and look forward to Jessie's safe and healthy return! As Caren would say-Big Pink Hugs and Kisses." -- The Renforths

"I hope that little Jessie gets better and has a great and a non-painful recovery." -- Michael Shade

"I just watched the segment on the news about Jessie and was compelled to write something. Through my own personal experience with my now 7-year-old daughter, I know how agonizing this is for your family. My daughter, right before her second birthday, faced the threat of lymphoma. What's so ironic about this is, the day before I felt the lump under her jawline, I was distraught about losing a job. When doctors told me, I did the best I could to control my emotions for my baby's sake, but when I got outside of UMMS, it was like my breath completely left my lungs, and all that emotion just poured out. Although the outcome for my baby was good and there was no cancer, the emotion, the sheer helplessness, that feeling of wanting to take that pain for your child instead of her, I know it all too well. That scar on my baby's face is a reminder of what it is to love a person beyond words, beyond all emotion, beyond your heart. I see that love in your face Kristi every time I see you on the news, and I know that little angel is in more than great hands with you as her Mommy. And hubby too, not to leave him out but this is girl talk, lol. I pray that the good Lord truly blesses the hands of all of those responsible for her care, strengthens the family and friends who are there to support her, and that your little princess recovers speedily and completely. God bless you all. I only wish I could do more." -- The Hill Family: Tinna, Kenne and Gabi, Columbia, Md.

"On the 29th of Feb, this year, my only child, my son was in an auto accident in Del. leaving him in a 23-day coma with a traumatic brain injury. I was told there was nothing they could do for him. I told the doctors my son would be fine, he would recover! I stood on the word of God, Matthew 21-believe and receive, and I did. I have a story to share with Jessie's parents, my son is a miracle by all definitions of the word. Tyler's recovery has changed the lives of many, as they witnessed these miracles that we ask of God through prayer. I would love to share my story and encourage Jesse's parents by telling them what the last 3.5 months have brought to my son and all of us who stood in faith that he would recover. At the moment he is in Kernan's rehab, and is due to be released within the next few weeks. He has a long road ahead, but by the grace of God, he has his mind and his body is recovering day by day. I would love share our story to encourage Jessie's family, to share what faith in God WILL BRING. Thank you, and please tell them I am sincerely praying for Jessie and her family." -- Dee Williams

"On Thursday morning I was getting ready for work, I actually work at Hopkins, and I heard your favorite color was pink. So guess what, I wore pink just for you! What an amazing little girl! I'm curious, with three brothers, whose the boss - you or them? I read your blog during my lunch today and had so much fun looking at your pictures - do your cheeks ever hurt from smiling so much? Guess what, the other day I was walking through the hospital and saw two clowns having lunch. One of them had a really big red nose. I didn't want to stare, but I was trying to figure out how he could eat and drink with that big thing sticking off his face? They were both wearing funny hats and white coats like the doctors wear. I'll bet you would have been rolling around on the floor laughing! You know, I heard if you want to be a clown, you have to go to Clown College - I wonder if they have to dress silly every day?  At least you could wear stuff that didn't match and no one would make fun of you.  I kinda like that idea - how about you?  Anyway - keep getting stronger and know that you have touched the hearts of people everywhere. I'll keep you in my prayers." -- Terrie
