Fugitive Files Show Leads Police To Md. Fugitive

BEL AIR, Md. (AP) ― Maryland State Police say a Harford County resident watching "Fugitive Files" on TV led police to a wanted man.

Sean Garrison, 37, was arrested at his Joppa home for allegedly assaulting a county woman and stealing her car Sept. 7.

On Sept. 21, someone watching the TV show Maryland's "Fugitive Files" saw Garrison's profile and called police. State police then went to his Joppa home and arrested him on robbery, assault and motor vehicle theft charges.

Each person profiled on "Fugitive Files," a nationwide TV show customized by state to inform citizens of people wanted in violent crimes, includes information on how tips can be anonymously reported to police.
