Jessie Hall suffered from Rasmussen's encephalitits, and had to have the diseased half of her brain removed.
The brave little six-year-old girl who touched the hearts of many after having brain surgery is back in the hospital.
Jessie Hall suffered from Rasmussen's encephalitis and had to have the diseased half of her brain removed.
Just weeks after pediatric neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson performed the surgery, Jessie returned to her old room on the fourth floor at Johns Hopkins Hospital with an unknown infection.
Jessie and her parents Cris and Kristi Hall are now awaiting results from blood and CSF cultures. Initial tests were normal.
Doctors say they should know what type of infection it is by Tuesday morning.
The Halls say there is good news. Jessie is doing well overall and feels no pain. They anticipate Jessie's return to Kennedy Krieger for rehab.
Jessie's only request is for God to help clean her room up.
