DTV Help For WJZ Viewers

BALTIMORE, Md. (CBS) ― There is local DTV help available for WJZ viewers in the Baltimore area.

LOCAL DTV EVENTS

June 6, 2009:  11am - 6pm Digital TV information table at the Charles Village Festival, Wyman Park Dell, N. Charles Street and West 29th Street.

June 7, 2009:  11am - 6pm Digital TV information table at the Baltimore Farmer's Market, Saratoga Street between Holliday and Gay Streets under the Jones Falls Expressway.

June 8, 2009:  1pm - 2pm DTV presentation, Waverly Branch, Enoch Pratt Free Library, 400 E. 33rd Street.

June 10, 2009:  6:30pm - 7:30pm DTV presentation, Waverly Branch, Enoch Pratt Free Library, 400 E. 33rd Street.

June 13, 2009:  11am - noon DTV presentation, Waverly Branch, Enoch Pratt Free Library, 400 E. 33rd Street.

DTV HELP FOR SENIORS

Baltimore City

Baltimore City Commission on Aging and Retirement Education (CARE) 1-410-396-2273. The city has five centers that serve as walk up centers for seniors who need digital television help:

Howard County

For Seniors living in Howard County who need help with DTV, they should call the Maryland Access Point - MAP - of Howard County to request a volunteer to help set up the converter box. Other DTV questions can be directed to MAP at (410) 313-5980 or by email to map@howardcountymd.gov.
