Ron Matz
Ron Matz joined WJZ Eyewitness News as a general assignment reporter in 1993.
He is also a regular guest personality on "The Morning Edition."
Ron, a well-known local radio personality, has worked at several radio stations in Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
A native of Baltimore, Ron received an A.A. degree in Radio/TV from the Community College of Baltimore in 1965. He received a B.A. degree in Journalism/Broadcasting: Radio/TV from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1969.
Ron is married and lives in Baltimore City.
